I got a chance to work on a surface design project for Kohl’s Art Internship during the fall/winter semester of 2022. A plaid pattern is something that is hard to make look unique or a pattern that you expect someone else can’t make as a pattern. The point of surface design is to make something creative and different. Something someone cant make or hasn’t seen often. For this plaid pattern, I used color to make it look unique.
