For this project, I worked under the guidance of Kohl's creative team. My class and I had a chance to pick a brand that is their company. I chose Apartment 9 as a brand to experiment with and get out of my comfort zone, especially with a brand that is men. Paisley is one of the hardest patterns that artists can make or make new ideas for. My main goal was to make a paisley pattern that is unique for men. Having the pattern placed on a button-up dress shirt gives it more of a formal appearance. The light blue and tan color gives the season of spring and summer.
